We believe everyone deserves a fair chance at better health, which is why we offer support that helps eligible patients start and stay on their prescribed generic, biosimilar, or branded treatments. Since 2012, our Patient Assistance Program has helped thousands of eligible patients access their medicines at no cost.

How we support patients

Amneal Patient Assistance Program (PAP)

Eligible individuals can apply to receive free Amneal medications for up to one year, based on program criteria. The PAP supports select branded therapies and is designed to help patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial hardship.

Affordability support

We provide financial assistance resources for eligible patients who may not otherwise be able to afford their prescribed medicines. This includes charitable programs, discount options, and partnerships that expand access. Additional affordability programs — including co-pay savings and discount offerings — are available for certain branded medicines.

Insurance and reimbursement guidance

Our support teams help patients and caregivers navigate coverage, benefits, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy coordination so treatment can begin with confidence

Community access initiatives

Through partnerships and nonprofit programs, we help deliver medicines to low-income and uninsured patients across the country, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to public health.

Support for Amneal Specialty Medicines

Dedicated support programs are available for eligible patients prescribed certain Amneal Specialty therapies. These resources vary by medicine and may include:

  • Financial assistance for eligible patients
  • Insurance and benefits support
  • Treatment access navigation
  • Education for patients and caregivers

Programs are tailored to the unique needs of each condition, enabling patients to focus on their health rather than the complexity of coverage and cost.

PATHways®: Support for Amneal Biosciences Medicines

PATHways® is Amneal Biosciences' dedicated access and reimbursement support program.

Patients and providers receive personalized guidance throughout the access journey, including:

  • Benefits investigation
  • Prior-authorization and coverage support
  • Reimbursement navigation and claims assistance
  • Co-pay savings for eligible commercially insured patients
  • Dedicated Patient Access Specialists who work directly with patients and caregivers
