We Support the Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Efforts
Our employees are uniquely passionate about helping people. It’s what inspires our work every day. Our team also has great empathy and eagerly engages in opportunities to share their talents and resources to help others. So it was no surprise when many members of our team stepped up to lead efforts to support Ukrainian humanitarian relief efforts.
Amneal employees contributed personal financial donations totaling more than $35,000 – well above our $15,000 goal. To acknowledge and boost their efforts, Amneal was pleased to add an additional $15,000 company contribution on behalf of all employees, bringing our total funds raised to $50,000+. We provided those funds to Americares, a longtime partner that is actively coordinating large-scale shipments of medicine and relief supplies as well as mobilizing emergency medical teams for Ukraine.
Our team’s efforts didn’t stop there. Colleagues collected hundreds of critical supplies through a series of on-site collections across our facilities. All donated items were assembled into more than one dozen pallets and shipped to the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, who has distributed items directly to Ukraine-based local organizations, hospitals and citizens.
In addition to our employees’ efforts, we’re working with organizations like Americares and Direct Relief to support the need for medicines in Ukraine and have already matched several of our products to the list of critically needed medicines. Our Glasgow, Kentucky-based logistics teams are actively working with these organizations and have already sent multiple shipments of Amneal products to Ukraine. We’ve also signed on as an Americares Emergency Response Partner (AERP) and are actively supporting the organization’s deployment of an emergency response team to support health services for families in Ukraine.
We will continue to do what we can to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis. We thank our employees for their generous support in helping Amneal deliver hope, needed supplies and critical medicines.
